Questions and answers

How much does a new roof cost in Colorado Springs?

Most north-side homes land between $11,000–$25,000 for an architectural shingle replacement. Large or steep homes run higher. Class 4 impact-resistant shingles add about $95–$100 per square, roughly $2,000–$3,000 on a typical home. The estimate is free and itemized.

Do you install Class 4 impact-resistant shingles?

Yes, on any job. They pass the UL 2218 impact test (a 2-inch steel ball dropped from 20 feet) and many insurers give a premium discount for them. Ask your agent what yours offers.

Do I need a permit for a roof replacement in Colorado Springs?

Yes. The Pikes Peak Regional Building Department requires a permit for any re-roof or roof repair over 100 square feet. We pull it; you don't have to do anything.

Can you help with my hail insurance claim?

Yes. We inspect and photograph the damage, give you a written report and an itemized estimate, and meet your adjuster on the roof. You file the claim and your insurer decides coverage. See insurance claim help.

Do you install metal roofs?

Yes: standing-seam and exposed-fastener metal on homes, cabins, barns and shops. Metal is popular in Black Forest and Monument because it sheds snow and needles and carries a Class A fire rating. See metal roofing.

How long does a roof replacement take?

One day for most homes, two for large or steep roofs. Scheduling after a big hailstorm can take a few weeks, so call early.

What areas do you serve?

North Colorado Springs (Briargate, Flying Horse, Northgate, Interquest, Wolf Ranch, Cordera), Gleneagle, Monument, Woodmoor, Black Forest and the rest of the city on request.

Are inspections really free?

Yes. Free inspection with photos, no obligation. If the roof is fine, we tell you.
